The Genesee County Park is a favorite during the Winter months. This is a perfect place to snowshoe, hike, horseback ride, and sled. Following Bethany Center Rd, turn into Area A parking lot. Here you will find the famous Toboggan Hill where many families come to enjoy a day at the park. If sledding isn’t your cup of hot chocolate, there are over 430 acres of beautiful rolling hills and woods to explore. For the snowmobiler, The park acts as a trailhead parking area with trails connecting both Genesee & Wyoming trail systems. If you plan to visit on the weekend, be sure to stop by the Interpretive Center to learn about all the wildlife species that make Genesee County their habitat. The Interpretive Center is also open weekdays by appointment.
What you’ll see & do: Sled, snowshoe, snowmobile, picnic, hike or just enjoy the beauty of 430 rolling acres of outdoor splendor. Many species of birds and wildlife can be spotted throughout the park and don’t forget to visit their Interpretive Center to learn more.

Open in the winter, Polarwave Snowtubing Park is a family fun place to spend a day. Large groomed hills that have both natural and man-made snow allow for a good time even in the warm days of winter, if there are any!
What you’ll see & do: Zoom on a downhill ride that runs on specially designed snow tubes. The tubing hill is groomed in "chutes" that resemble various sizes of snow-built waves and includes runs for both adults and children. A tow rope will bring you back up the hill after your exhilarating ride.

Featuring 1,846 acres of hilly wooded terrain. Ice skating takes place on the 12-acre lake in the winter. Nineteen miles of multi-use trails beckon hikers, horseback riders, cross country skiers and snowmobilers. The park maintains camping sites, picnic and playground areas.
What you’ll see & do: Available activities are picnicking, biking, hunting, and camping. In the winter enjoy snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
