Regional Action Phone, Inc. (RAP) and the Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism & Substance Abuse (GCASA) have teamed up to establish the Tipline - a prevention and intervention safety net for young people in Allegheny, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Jefferson, Lewis, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, St. Lawrence & Wyoming Counties.
Concerned adults, teacher, students and friends now have a place to call 24-hours a day, 365 days a year to report underage drinking parties or other activities that are harmful to the health, safety and/or welfare of young people.
The Tipline is Anonymous, Confidential and Free.
By providing basic information (i.e. location of party, estimated number of young people attending, what's being served, if adults are present, etc) a difference can be made, tragedy diverted and lives saved.
